To support people living with MND, their carers, families and friends
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is an incurable condition that paralyses the muscles leaving people unable to do everyday things the rest of us take for granted. Walking talking and swallowing become virtually impossible, in some cases cognitive and behavioural changes happen (Frontotemporal Dementia, aka FTD).
The branch is completely run by friendly volunteers all willing to help in any way we can.
Click on (mobile), or hover a mouse /cursor (Desktop) over the ‘About the Branch’ menu button to see our branch aims and ways we offer support locally.
Our patron is Dr John Ealing, Consultant Neurologist at Salford Royal Hospital.
